reminds me of gary sinese and the wave of space related films that appeared in the mid 1990s and early 2000s.
while writing a space related script, i realized that there are very few plots that can happen in space outside space opera. i’m guessing they are mostly rescue mission, dying spaceship, and the monster/crazy person plots.
